An upcoming ballot measure Proposition 16 was an opportunity to repeal Proposition 209, which was instituted in 1996 and had decimated the number of Black students attending University of California institutions.
To promote the success of Black Scholars through scholarship, mentorship and professional development.
In 2020, several UC Black Alumni Chapter leaders came together with one common goal: To enrich the lives of Black Scholars at UC campuses statewide. Our board consists of UC Black Alumni who are respected servant leaders in their respective communities.
Join us for volunteer opportunities throughout the year or donate to our BAEE. All proceeds will be used to fund our mission.
